Subjects Taught

After graduating from Danville High School, I was a stay at home wife and mother for 15 years.  Once my children started school, I decided I wanted to teach kindergarten.

In 2002, I graduated from Calhoun Community College with an Associates of Science in Education.

In 2005, I graduated from Athens State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I have been married for 26 years to Mike Cowart and we have 4 amazing children that I am so proud of.

My first year at Sparkman, I taught 2nd grade.  After that, I moved to kindergarten and have been there ever since.  I love getting up and going to work everyday and I love kindergarten!
